This is probably due to a) the relative low price to other branded proteins, b) the wide range of flavours (10 of them!) and c) the good protein content. Whilst there are proteins with higher contents to them, Elite Whey represents a good compromise of cost vs quality. It is also one of the least badly hit products in the recent whey protein shortage, with a price rise of only £2.50 on the RRP - from £34.99 to £37.50 - which means typically at most a £2 increase with online stores, with some not raising the price at all in fact.

Overall a good product. Its probably the most competitively priced whey protein product and the flavour selection is superb. As for the flavours themselves, they are a bit ‘love em or hate em’. Choc and choc mint are most popular and the safest. The fruit flavours are a little less safe - if you dont like them you probably wont make it through the tub. All of the flavours have a somewhat chemical-like aftertaste, but you get used to it. Mixability is very good. Results, as always with a protein are hard to guage but certainly not bad. Only real concern with this product is the tests Reflex ran on it a little while back where it didnt quite meet the label claims (re protein content 68% rather than 76%) but its probably best to view that report with sceptiscm as it was by a rival company, and they have since removed the report from the net following threat of legal action from Dymatize.

Great Product, you have to be patient but the results will be there in a few weeks, price is £45 a tub. Does not give stomach ache and highly recommended
